All Your PDF Tools in One Place

Merge, split, compress, rotate, protect and convert PDF files — everything free and in your browser.

One Toolkit for Everything You Do With PDFs

Most PDF jobs are small and annoying. Two files that should be one. A scan that came out sideways. A document three megabytes over the attachment limit. A contract you need to edit but only have as a PDF. Each of these takes a minute to fix — as long as you are not hunting for a different website, and a different set of adverts, for every single task.

That is what this toolkit is for. Merge PDFs into one document or split out just the pages you need. Compress a file until it fits, or turn a colour scan grayscale before printing. Convert PDF to Word, DOCX, PowerPoint or plain text when you need to edit, and convert Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TXT, JPG, PNG, BMP and TIFF the other way when you need a PDF. Rotate, reorder and delete pages, repair a corrupted file, lock a document with a password or unlock one you already have the key to.

Everything is free, with no account, no subscription and no watermark stamped on your pages. Several of the tools — merging, rotating, deleting and reordering pages, and building ZIP archives — run entirely inside your browser, so those files never leave your device; the rest upload over an encrypted connection and are deleted from the server automatically once processed. It all works in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. Pick a tool and get on with your day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all the tools really free?

Yes. Every tool on the site is free to use, with no registration, no subscription and no daily limit, and nothing is watermarked.

Which tools are used most often?

Merge PDF, Split PDF, Compress PDF, PDF to Word and JPG to PDF cover the majority of everyday tasks. The full list is on the home page.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in your web browser on a computer, tablet or phone — no program, no plugin and no extension.

How do you handle my documents?

Merging, rotating, deleting and reordering pages and building ZIP archives happen in your browser, so those files are never uploaded. Documents that need server processing are sent over an encrypted connection and deleted automatically afterwards.

Is there a file size limit?

A single file can be up to 100 MB. The one exception is PDF to BMP, limited to 10 MB because uncompressed bitmaps are extremely large.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The site adapts to small screens, so you can upload a document or a photo straight from an Android or iOS device, process it and save the result.
