Rotate PDF Pages Online — Fix Sideways Scans in Seconds
You open a PDF and half of it is lying on its side. It usually happens with scanners and phone cameras: the sheet went into the feeder the wrong way round, or a landscape table was photographed in portrait. Reading the file means tilting your head or rotating the view every time you open it — and the wrong orientation is baked in when you print it. Rotating the pages once and saving the corrected file solves it permanently.
Load the document and every page appears as a thumbnail. Select the page that is wrong — or several pages, or all of them — and turn them 90 degrees left or right; two clicks give you 180 degrees for a page that came out upside down. Zoom in to check the result before saving. When the document looks right, press Download and you get a PDF whose orientation is stored in the file itself, so it opens correctly everywhere.
Rotating does not touch the content of the pages: text, fonts, images and layout are untouched, only the display angle changes, so nothing loses quality. The tool is free, needs no registration and adds no watermark. It also runs entirely inside your browser, which means your PDF is never uploaded to a server — a real advantage for contracts, medical records and other documents you would rather not send anywhere. If some pages also need to be reordered or deleted, use the Organize PDF tool.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I rotate a PDF and save it that way?
Upload the file, select the pages, click the rotate buttons until the orientation is right and press Download. The rotation is written into the saved document, so it opens correctly in every PDF reader.
Can I rotate just one page instead of all of them?
Yes. Click the page you need and rotate only that one. You can also select several pages, or use 'Rotate All' to turn the whole document at once.
How do I turn a page upside down, 180 degrees?
Press the same rotate button twice — each click turns the page 90 degrees, so two clicks give you a full 180.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the page's display angle changes; the text, fonts and images inside are left exactly as they were and nothing is recompressed.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Rotation happens in your browser on your own device, so the PDF never leaves your computer or phone.
Is the tool free, and will it add a watermark?
It is completely free, with no registration and no daily limit, and the saved file carries no watermark or advertising.
